Host synchronization with Okta is available exclusively with the Visitly Enterprise plan and is not enabled by default. To enable this feature, please contact Visitly Support.

Supported Features

• Push New Users 

New users created in Okta will automatically be created in Visitly Information

• Push Profile Updates
  

Profile updates made in Okta will sync directly to Visitly.

• Push User Deactivation 

Deactivating or disabling a user’s access in Okta will deactivate the user in Visitly. 

• Import New Users

New users created in Visitly will be imported into Okta as AppUser objects, enabling matching with existing Okta users. 

• Import Profile Updates 

Profile updates made in Visitly will sync back to Okta’s local profile fields. 

• Reactivate Users 

Deactivated user accounts can be reactivated in Visitly.

• Silent Provisioning 

Provision users silently to Visitly without sending welcome emails to newly provisioned users.

Configuration Steps

Visitly Configuration

1. Log in to the Visitly Dashboard as a Global Administrator.

2. Navigate to Integrations > Host Synchronization.

3. Click on the Install button next to Okta and select Generate Token.

4. Copy the generated token for use in the Okta configuration.

Okta Configuration

1. Enable provisioning features by checking the Enable Provisioning Features box.

2. Navigate to API Integration and enter the API Token (generated in Step 3 of Visitly Configuration). 

3. Save your settings.

4. Click Test API Credentials to verify the setup. Once confirmed, save the configuration.

5. Scroll down to select the specific Provisioning Features you wish to enable

• If you enable the Deactivate Users provisioning feature, users will be deactivated in Visitly and not deleted.
  

6. Assign people to the application (if needed) and complete the setup.
