If you need to change the PIN for a Visitly device, you can easily reset it from the Visitly Admin Dashboard. This is useful if the PIN has been forgotten, shared incorrectly, or needs to be updated for security reasons.
Reset Your Visitly PIN
1. Go to your Visitly Admin Dashboard and sign in with your admin credentials.
2. Navigate to the Locations page from the left-hand menu.
3. Click Edit on the Location you want to update.
4. Select Devices from the left-hand menu. Here you'll see all the devices associated with this location.
5. Locate the device you want to update and click the Lock icon on the Device Card.
You can reset the device PIN directly using the Lock icon
If prompted, you may also use the Admin PIN to proceed
6. Enter a new PIN for the device.
7. Click Save to apply the changes.
8. Refresh the Visitly Kiosk App on the device and sign in using the newly set PIN.
Important Things to Know
Resetting the PIN does not affect other devices at the same location
The new PIN takes effect immediately after saving
Make sure the updated PIN is shared only with authorized staff
