Learn how to integrate Cisco Meraki WiFi Manager with Visitly
Meraki Configuration
1. Log in to the Meraki Dashboard.
2. Navigate to Organization → Configure → API & Webhooks.
3. On the API & Webhooks page, select the API keys and access tab.
4. Click on Generate API Key. A new key will appear, this will not be shown again, so be sure to copy and save it securely.
Visitly Configuration
1. Log in to the Visitly Dashboard
2. Navigate to Integrations → Guest WiFi and click Install under the Meraki.
3. Enter the Meraki API Token from earlier steps, then click Save.
4. Go to Locations, and choose the one you want to update.
⭐ Note: Guest Wi-Fi is a location-specific configuration.
5. Click on Guest WiFi in the left-hand panel.
6. Enter the following:
Guest WiFi Provider
Organization
Network
User Type
SSID
Validity Period: Set access duration (e.g., hours).
7. Save your settings.
8. Go to the Visitor Types page and select those you want to update.
9. Under Issue Guest WiFi Credential, select Yes and save.
10. Create a test visitor sign-in to test the integration. The visitor should receive WiFi credentials upon successful registration.
