Integrating Visitly with Microsoft Teams allows you to receive real-time notifications for visitor events directly within Teams, enhancing team communication and response times.
Ensure you have the required permissions to install custom apps in Microsoft Teams: Teams Custom App Policies & Settings.
Set Up Microsoft Teams Notifications
1. Install the Visitly App in Microsoft Teams
Obtain the installer package from the Visitly Support Team. If you don’t have the package, contact support@visitly.io.
Follow the instructions to upload your package to Teams.
Install the app in a team that includes all staff members (e.g., the "General" team).
Upon successful installation, you’ll see a welcome message in Teams.
2. Log in to the Visitly Dashboard.
3. Go to Locations → Edit Location → Notifications.
4. Click Add New and configure the notification settings.
5. In the Channel dropdown, select Microsoft Teams, and then save your changes.
6. Create a test visit to ensure notifications are successfully sent to your Microsoft Teams app.
